As Recording Industry Crumbled, Two Top RIAA Executives Made $4.8 Million
In a new public filing, The Recording Industry Association Of America, revealed that, even as the record companies that fund it struggled, the trade group's two top executives were pulling in a whopping $4.78 million in compensation in 2009. President Cary Sherman collected a total of $3,185.026, CEO and Director Mitch Bainwol received $1,614,904 and several other executives were paid in the $500-600,000 range.
