Social Music Service Twones Shuts Down

(UPDATED) Amsterdam based social music service Twones has shut down. "We have tried several versions, iterations and models and it has been quite the ride," said an email sent late on Friday. "Now its time for a clean and fresh start."  

The engineering team, founders and technology are now a part of shuffler.fm which will launch in a few months. The company describes shuffler.fn as enabling users to "channel surf the music web… a fast, fun way to browse the music web". The company also runs music marketing agency tone.fm.
