No Music In The Cloud For iPad Launch
CNET is reporting and Hypebot has confirmed that there will be no major music surprise arriving long with this weekend's launch of Apple's new iPad. But record label executives have been told by Apple to expect some kind of streaming music late this year.
Speculation about some form of iTunes in the cloud began the day that Apple acquired Lala and its suite of online and mobile music applications. The company may just be planning cloud storage and delivery of already purchased iTunes tracks, though legions of music fans techies are hoping for more.
