Nimbit Names New CEO As Competition Heats Up
Direct to fan music marketing and sales platform Nimbit has brought in Bob Cramer as CEO. He's served on Nimbit’s board of
directors for 3 years, and will also continue to serve as its chairman. Co-founders Patrick Faucher and Phil
Antoniades remain with the company with Faucher moving from CEO to the Chief Technology Officer slot.
The move comes at a time of increased competition for Nimbit as Topspin, Bandcamp and dozens of others line up to offer solutions to musicians and labels struggling to maximize their potential the growing direct to fan marketplace. “Any $40B industry in disarray has to reemerge around a new a model," commented Cramer, "and
Nimbit is uniquely positioned to make this happen.”
"We founded Nimbit to empower artists of all genres and levels to create
and manage a successful direct-to-fan business,” said Phil Antoniades,
Nimbit co-founder. “And as the market fully embraces our platform,
we’re very excited to bring Bob’s proven experience on board to scale
the company and move us toward our broader vision for the industry,”
added Faucher.
Previously Cramer was CEO of LiveVault. and FirstSense Software, and
held senior management, sales and marketing positions at Oracle, CenterLine, and Ingres.
Everybody here at Nimibt is psyched to have Bob as our new CEO. The future is looking bright for our artists!
