I’m all for making things simpler for the consumer, but I’m curious why 100% compatible was used instead of just DRM-free.

Gee Wizz, I think it’s good because: Some people buy an iPod and don’t know what DRM is or even if they can put music on it other than using iTunes. But I think they could have said 100% compatible with… insert something here..
